Organic Extra virgin olive oil 100% Italian
The farm, streches out unbroken for a total of 37 acres, located within the territory of the Comunità Montana dell’Alto Tammaro and precisely at locality Pagliarelle in the municipality of Morcone, a pristine area of the southern Apennine Mountains at an altitude between 1600 and 1900 feet above sea level.
The farm, founded by Gabriele Sr. in 1929, originally had a cereal and zootechnical aim, with olive oil and wine production. In 1999, under Giacomo (second generation olive grower), the farm decided to specialize exclusively into olive oil production. In 2004, when the the olive grove had grown to 10 acres, the olive farm went organic with the goal of pursuing the best principles of healthy food production and maintaining the best environmentally friendly practice. In the following years new olive groves were planted.
In 2014 the farm was handed over to Gabriele Jr. and Angela (third generation growers), young enthusiast entrepreneurs in their early twenties, full of ideas and desire to succeed. In January 2016, another 6 acres were planted covering all the available land devoted to olive growing on the olive farm.
In 2019 the farm was handed over back to Giacomo.
